The Anchorage Whalers got a stellar effort from pitcher Taylor Carr, helping Anchorage score a win over the visiting Music City Mystique, 5-2. Carr, now 4-6, was the winner. The Whalers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tony Valdovino. For the game, Valdovino was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
