Revolution Dominguez Wins CL Batting Title

Tony Dominguez, the talented New York first baseman, has added to his list of accomplishments the Continental League batting title.
The 30-year-old Dominguez finished the season with a .388 average to earn the accolade. In his standout year he also had 114 hits, 31 doubles, 1 triple, and 8 home runs. Dominguez played in 80 games, drove in 70 runs, and scored 69 times.

Menendez Tops FL with .358 Average

Pittsburgh's Mario Menendez topped the Frontier League in hitting this past year.
The outstanding Monongahelas right fielder posted a .358 average to garner the title.
Menendez 108 hits included 17 doubles, 10 triples and 4 home runs. This season's batting king also drove in 51 runs and scored 55 times.

NOVA Captures Wild Card

With a position in the playoffs as a wild card winner now secured, the NOVA Navigators are looking to prove doubters wrong.
"People are going to say we're not good enough, or that we can't win a World Series, but we know that's not true," said third baseman Nick McNalley. "The guys are celebrating this tonight and then it's back to business and back to focusing on winning a championship."
A World Series win would be the team's 3rd in franchise history.
