Whiskey Jacks Collect 9-5 Win Over Sluggers
Fans who congregated at Cyberdyne Systems Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Wheat City Whiskey Jacks stopped the Sacramento Sluggers, 9-5, behind an impressive performance from Corentin Pillet. The 25-year old left fielder made life miserable for Sacramento pitching. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. With the win, Wheat City raised its record to 34-21.

Elliot Nelson drew 1 walk for Wheat City. The 35-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Brad Creamer. It was his 7th walk of the season.

"I still think this team can play even better," Pillet told the Wheat City Citizen.
