Mystique Top Keys, 2-0, Behind Espinoza
|
Music City got a first-rate effort from pitcher Victor Espinoza, who frustrated Kansas City hitters en route to a 2-0 Mystique triumph at Polo Grounds 1923. With the win, the Mystique hiked their record to 31-29.
Espinoza earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Music City. The native of Los Cabos, Mexico, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Kansas City hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"Victor was Victor," said Mystique manager Lookie Wookie. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
