The Tuscon Raiders got a stellar effort from pitcher Matt Lambert, helping Tuscon score a win over the visiting Louisville Lightning, 9-1. With the win, the Raiders have a record of 43-15.

Steve Edge hit a 2-run home run off Bobby Hayes in the bottom of the first, which put the Raiders ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Edge had 1 single and 1 double, while going 3 for 5.

Raiders manager Lookie Wookie had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
