Sacramento Gets 6-2 Win
|
Sacramento picked up a win at Smith's Ballpark, toppling the Salt Lake City Missionaries, 6-2. Pitcher Chris Fife was one of the reasons the Sluggers triumphed. The win has Sacramento at 31-47.
Gustavo Enriquez, the 27-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Enriquez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Sacramento up, 1-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Enriquez told the Sacramento Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
