Cavaliers Rough Up Iron Benders, Take 14-0 Win
The Columbus Cavaliers easily defeated the Pacific City Iron Benders, 14-0, at Huntington Park, with third baseman Dave Redinger a main contributor to the win. He was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Columbus. With the victory, the Cavaliers upped their record to 44-33.

Redinger had a key at-bat for Columbus early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 34th home run of the season and gave Columbus an early 2-0 lead.
