The Louisville Lightning topped the Music City Mystique, 6-5, with first baseman Clark Clark playing a big role. Clark went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Lightning in the win. Louisville reliever Dave Watkins picked up the win, while Eric Springer took the loss for Music City. Louisville now has a 3-game win streak.

Louisville used the timely hitting of Miles Haynes to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lightning on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Haynes, "and then get after it again."
