The Louisville Lightning had to overcome a fine effort from Pittsburgh pitcher Ottheinrich Lindner to grab a narrow 5-3 win at Shock Stadium. Lindner went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Reliever Willie Bustos picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Mark Raucci took the loss. Jason Walters closed it out for his 15th save.

Mauricio Ochoa, who is tied for 5th in the FL in RBI with 53, aided the Louisville cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI.

"There's still time to turn this season around," said Ochoa.

After today's action, Louisville sits at 36-44, while Pittsburgh falls to 51-29.
