Warman Thwarts San Diego, 10-0
|
The San Diego Seawolves struggled at the plate today against Raptor Boats hurler Travis Warman, who shackled them on 3 hits while hurling a complete game 10-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Seawolves skipper Lookie Wookie in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
Warman finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," Raleigh manager Lookie Wookie said. "Travis made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
Season-to-date Warman has rung up 2 wins and 4 losses in 8 appearances. He has an ERA of 4.30 and has fanned 43 batters in 52.1 innings.
