The Raleigh Raptor Boats defeated the Norfolk Vikings, 11-0, at Vinland Park today. Leading the charge for Raleigh was catcher Sergio Leal. He went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Norfolk now has a 5-game losing streak.

In the top of the second, with the bases loaded, Leal came to the plate. He hit a sacrifice fly off Johnny Rainwater to put the Raptor Boats in the lead, 1-0.

Norfolk manager Lookie Wookie called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
