Tampa Crocodiles starter Justin Hudson turned in a top-notch performance against the San Diego Seawolves at Balboa Field. The result was a win for the Crocodiles, 6-2. Tampa reliever Russ Cash got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Jimmy Gonzalez was tagged with the loss. The slumping Seawolves have dropped 6 in a row.

Tampa used the clutch hitting of Tony Martinez to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Crocodiles the lead, 3-2. For the game, Martinez had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
