Big Day for Haywood as Bulldogs Down Navigators, 4-2
With first baseman Scott Haywood leading the charge, the Dallas Bulldogs defeated the NOVA Navigators, 4-2, at Disney Arena. Haywood, who is a four-time All-Star, was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Dallas reliever William Allen was the winner. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Josh Kimble. The win elevated the Bulldogs to 28-23.

Haywood had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-0 curveball from Josh Kimble, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Bulldogs a 4-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Haywood.

Haywood called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
