Brawlers Top Revolution, 4-1, Behind Carruthers

The Brooklyn Brawlers defeated the New York Revolution, 4-1, in Continental League action at Bomber's Park. Brooklyn pitcher Ashton Carruthers had a standout performance. After today's action, Brooklyn sits at 23-28; New York slips to 42-9.
Carruthers was effective for Brooklyn, seldom allowing the Revolution to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 90 pitches over 8 innings. He limited New York to just 1 run on 3 hits.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Carruthers.
