The Norfolk Vikings grabbed a win, 6-2, over the Tampa Crocodiles at Freedom Lake. Norfolk right fielder Nick Stott slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Norfolk has now won 3 straight, while the Crocodiles have lost 3 in a row.

The Vikings benefited from a costly error in the top of the seventh. With Jesus Mendoza at bat and Norfolk leading 3-2, the Tampa miscue allowed Norfolk to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-2.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Mendoza said after the game.
