Crusaders Win at Hamilton, 10-1
|
Swiss Chalet Stadium was the site for Continental League action featuring the Hamilton Hitters and Columbia Crusaders.
The Columbia Crusaders saddled the Hamilton Hitters with a loss at Swiss Chalet Stadium. The final score was 10-1. Pat McNally was 2 for 4, including 1 single and 1 home run. The Columbia second baseman scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Zach Larkins, the winner, improved to 5-1. He held Hamilton to 1 run on 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts.
With Columbia leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, McNally hit a changeup from Mario Niebles for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Crusaders ahead, 4-0.
