The Raleigh Raptor Boats got a superb performance from pitcher Travis Warman, but the Tampa Crocodiles still won the game, 5-4. Warman threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The winning pitcher was Joel Lopez. He tossed 106 pitches over 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 12 hits. Joel Hettinger, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 11th save.

Tampa used the timely hitting of Jose Vasquez to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Crocodiles on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a good effort all around," said Vasquez.

The loss makes Raleigh 29-24.
