Mexico City used a superb performance from starting pitcher Juan Medina to down the Brooklyn Brawlers, 5-1. Mexico City is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Blazers got a big hit from third baseman Bob Ramos. In the bottom of the fifth, Ramos pounded a 2-run double to left. His 4th double of the season put the Blazers ahead, 4-0.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Ramos, "and then get after it again."
