Blazers Stumble, Lose to Bulldogs
|
Starting pitcher Antonio Dominguez had a solid game. He was a big reason the Dallas Bulldogs throttled the Mexico City Blazers, 9-0. The win gives Dallas a season record of 29-28.
David Gonzalez, who finished 3rd in the CL in wins above replacement with 3.4 in 2058, chipped in for Dallas with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Dominguez.
