The San Juan Defenders tallied a win at El Morro Park, throttling the Raleigh Raptor Boats, 7-0. Starting pitcher Bill Winman was a big reason for his team's success. With the win, the Defenders hiked their record to 34-22.

Winman delivered a quality start for San Juan. The 6' 8" left-hander allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings of work.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Winman.
