The Columbia Crusaders got a good effort from starter Victor Antonio in defeating the Brooklyn Brawlers at Bomber's Park. The final score was 6-1. In 6 innings, Antonio surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Getting the save was Alex Flores, his 2nd.
Columbia used the bat of Cameron Arsenault to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Crusaders ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Arsenault.
The win for the Crusaders raised their record to 36-23.
