Scott Haywood led Dallas to a triumph over Tampa. The final score was 11-4. The left fielder went 4 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 3 runs and added 2 RBI. Ted Bychyk earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 5.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. The win lifted the Dallas record to 34-30.
