4-3 Loss Extends Columbia Skid
|
The Brooklyn Brawlers did just enough to sneak past the Columbia Crusaders, 4-3, at Bomber's Park. Brooklyn pitcher Chris Schrock, in particular, had a standout performance. Brooklyn reliever Mark Winchester picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Victor Antonio absorbed the loss. Earning his 16th save of the year was Justin Anderson.
Brooklyn took a 4-3 lead on Tommy Leavitt's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Columbia pitcher Victor Antonio in the bottom of the seventh.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Columbia manager Lookie Wookie, "let me know."
Columbia's current losing streak has reached 7 games.
