Tampa picked up a win at Balboa Field, bumping off the San Diego Seawolves, 6-3. Pitcher Dan Rogala was a major reason the Crocodiles emerged victorious. Rogala got the win, improving to 7-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. Rogala allowed 1 run. The losing skid has reached 14 games for San Diego.

Tampa used a timely hit from Vinny Perez to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Crocodiles ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
