Raptor Boats Come Up Short at Mexico City, 6-5
Danny Perez did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Raleigh Raptor Boats from losing, 6-5, to the Mexico City Blazers at Burnt to a Crisp Field. Perez went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Arthur Warner earned the save, his 1st. The Blazers go to 28-41 with the win.

Mexico City took a 6-4 lead on Rich Alvarez's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Raleigh pitcher Joe Birmingham in the bottom of the seventh.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Alvarez told the Mexico City Bulletin.
