Raptor Boats Sneak By Defenders, 5-4
The Raleigh Raptor Boats racked up a win at El Morro Park, bumping off the San Juan Defenders, 5-4. Brian Benevides, who started for Raleigh, pitched effectively for his team. The second-place Raptor Boats are 38-34.

Warren Bailey had a nice at-bat for the Raptor Boats with two out in the top of the 11th. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the second baseman hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Raleigh win.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Benevides.
