Navigators Pull Even With 3-1 Victory
NOVA Navigators pitcher Andrew Purkis was in fine form, leading his team past the Brooklyn Brawlers, 3-1. Brandon Pettway was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 21 of 22 save opportunities. The win elevated the Navigators to 38-38.

The Navigators got a big hit from second baseman Jesus Ramos. In the bottom of the fifth, Ramos pounded a solo home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Navigators ahead, 2-0.

Purkis said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
