4-3 Loss to Crocodiles Extends Mexico City Losing Streak
|
Tampa starter Danny Morales had a strong outing against the Mexico City Blazers at Burnt to a Crisp Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Morales went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-3. The losses continue to mount for Mexico City, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
Vinny Perez, the 25-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Perez contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Tampa up, 3-1.
