Burnt to a Crisp Field was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Mexico City Blazers did just enough to secure a victory over the Tampa Crocodiles, 5-4, at Burnt to a Crisp Field. Nobody did more than pitcher John Bell. The Blazers raised their record to 31-49.

Brad Varner was the walk-off hero for Mexico City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blazers first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Varner. "More importantly, I had a good game."
