FL's #1 Player, Carroll of Columbus Monday, June 22nd , 2065 Pitchers who faced the Columbus Cavaliers last week were happy to see Matthew Carroll in the rear-view mirror. The 29-year-old center fielder was dubbed the Frontier League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .476 clip. For the week he also chalked up 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. To date this season Carroll is hitting .387 with 14 home runs. |
