No Playoff Berth Coming for Salt Lake City Tuesday, July 19th , 2067 Carlos Garza said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Salt Lake City Missionaries after they missed the North American Baseball Association playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Missionaries have made the playoffs 19 times in their 46 years as a North American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 15th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2052. Salt Lake City last won the World Series in 2033. |
