New York Revolution Win Top Spot in Continental League East Saturday, July 23rd , 2067 The pennant has been won, the New York Revolution are champions of the Continental League East. Starting Pitcher Chris Rockel said his team is a "gritty and determined" club that were poised to win the division from day one. "We knew the day the season opened that we'd be champions," he said. "It was just a matter of going out there and doing it." At the helm, team manager Lookie Wookie said his club is certainly not short on confidence. "There's a lot of belief in the dugout and in the clubhouse," he said. New York's record currently sits at 50-24 and it's the 16th division win for the franchise. |
