Raleigh's Langille Gets 1000th Hit Saturday, July 23rd , 2067 Gene Langille of the Raleigh Raptor Boats earned his membership in the exclusive 1000-hit club this afternoon at Segra Park. The 36-year-old right fielder got his milestone hit in the Raptor Boats 3-1 triumph over the Columbia Crusaders. Langille went 1-for-5 for the game. Langille is hitting .277 lifetime with 1000 hits, 210 doubles, 7 triples, 181 home runs and 597 RBIs to date. He has scored 545 runs, walked 375 times and has a .350 OBP.
