1000 Hits for Becerra Saturday, July 23rd , 2067 For Jordan Becerra, it was a red-letter day. The Brooklyn Brawlers first baseman slapped his 1000th career hit. That his team defeated the Hamilton Hitters, 1-0, made it even sweeter. His manager paid tribute to Becerra after the game: "I've followed Jordan since he came into the league," he said.
