Blazers Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, July 24th , 2067 It won't be a season to remember for the Mexico City Blazers, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Blazers were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2067 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Mexico City starting pitcher Lee Erickson. The Blazers have missed the playoffs 32 times in their 46 years as a North American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2058. In the last 10 seasons, the Blazers have missed the playoffs 8 times. Mexico City last won the World Series in 2025. |
