Missionaries Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, July 16th , 2063 It will not be a surprise to many, but the Salt Lake City Missionaries will not be heading to the playoffs this year. The team has been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Missionaries have made the playoffs 19 times in their 42 years as a North American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 11th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2052. Salt Lake City last won the World Series in 2033. |
