No Late-Season Magic Coming: Music City Out of Playoffs Wednesday, July 25th , 2063 The Music City Mystique may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in North American Baseball Association. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Mystique manager Lookie Wookie said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." The Mystique have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 42 years as a North American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2059. In the last 10 seasons, the Mystique have missed the playoffs 3 times.
