Crocodiles Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, July 27th , 2063 When a team loses its shot at a World Series championship, it's "the worst day of the year," said Tampa Crocodiles manager Lookie Wookie. That day has now come for Tampa, as they were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Crocodiles have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 42 years as a North American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2057. In the last 10 seasons, the Crocodiles have made the playoffs 3 times. |
