|
Ethan Knecht never let the Whalers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Raiders to a win, 5-0. The win elevated the Raiders to 39-34.
Jesse Latour took Jake Shelfer deep in the bottom of the fourth. His grand slam home run put the Raiders on top, 4-0. In all, Latour had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Latour said after the game.
